Education
Parents in Serbia worry about a better future for their children. Education can truly change a child's life. We are dedicated to educational projects that help disadvantaged children and youth fulfill their potential. We work with local partners to address educational, physical, and spiritual needs.

AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM IN KRAGUJEVAC
The afterschool program is the provision of mentoring services in the form of additional free classes for primary school age. With a team of mentors, we support children who come from vulnerable groups and who do not have enough finances to pay for additional private lessons. Every Saturday, we organize workshops that help children overcome all problems from school desks.
From homework support to preparing for entrance exams in Serbian lenguage, mathematics, and English. Also, Bible workshops, and the creative workshops is an integral part of the program where we motivate children to develop their spiritual and creative potential.
The afterschool program is a gift to the Kragujevac community, and for five years now, the users of this program have successfully improved their abilities and thus have better results in formal education.
As part of the program, all users receive the services of a social worker who helps with direct counseling in order to overcome social difficulties.
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF EDUCATION
Today is International Education Day!
Our association is focused on the availability of education as a means of getting out of poverty.
We provide support to vulnerable groups through free supplementary classes, and that is why your support is important to us in order to provide free classes and a hot meal to as many children as possible.
Account for donations: 265-3030310000640-22
Purpose of payment: donation for the Afterschool program
The data from 2020 is devastating. 262 million children do not go to school. 617 million children are illiterate and do not know the basics of mathematics. In Serbia, 20 percent of children require additional support in order to provide them with the basic conditions for education.
Afterschool Program
The Afterschool Program provides mentoring services through additional classes for elementary school children. It is intended for children whose parents may not have sufficient means to afford private lessons. Inspired by our local context, we came up with the idea to give children in Kragujevac the opportunity to attend free classes in mathematics, Serbian, and English. Every Saturday, socially disadvantaged children receive informal education, serving as motivation for them to develop their potential.
The program also includes providing one hot meal for each participant.
