EXPLORING DOCTRINE DEEPENS FAITH OF CHRISTIANS IN SERBIA

Christianity explored
Christianity Explored in Eastern Europe
When Andrija heard the presentation by David Armuš about the structure of the "Christianity explored" course, he immediately knew it was something he would want to participate in. He was already a Christian, and after the course presentation, he approached the pastor of his church and convinced him to order the materials to run the course in their small town near Niš in southern Serbia.
“I always believed in God,” says Andrija, reflecting on how the course changed his outlook. “But I
didn’t have the assurance that whatever I was going through, God was by my side.
“Christianity Explored helped me to understand much more deeply the main doctrines of sin and
salvation. The more we get to know Christianity, the more we get to know God and his will for us.
God is omnipresent and always around us, guiding our lives.”
Andrija is 20 and hopes to study music at university. He says: “Christianity Explored was a perfect
tool for my spiritual growth.”
Young people in Serbia who participated in Christian Explored: Andrija describes it as a perfect tool for spiritual growth. Since its publication two years ago, the Serbian edition of Christianity Explored has been used by 40 groups in 18 locations around the Balkan state, engaging the hearts and minds of 264 participants. Sponsored by Blythswood, it has been used by Baptist, Pentecostal and Evangelical Roma churches and groups. David Armus observes: “Cooperation between protestant churches is better and closer thanks to Christianity Explored.”
